Project background

In the mining industry, operations often take place in remote and dusty environments, which brings many challenges to energy management. With the fluctuation of power demand at various stages of mining activities, customers urgently need an energy-saving and economical product to improve operational efficiency. Therefore, in response to this actual demand, we proposed a microgrid power system solution that aims to achieve adaptive energy management while providing peak shaving and load shifting functions.

Solution Overview

In May 2024, we designed and implemented this microgrid system for customers in Australia. The core configuration of the system includes:


Power Control System (PCS): 500kW

Battery Energy Storage System (BAT): 1075kWh

Load Type: Mining Equipment

This system can operate stably in dusty working environments and ensure power supply for mining equipment under different working conditions.


Operation Mode

Our microgrid system supports multiple operation modes, including:


Grid-connected operation: connected to the local power grid to optimize energy use in real time.


Off-grid operation support: when the power grid is unavailable, the system can operate independently to ensure the continuity of mining operations.
