UTILITY-SCALE DC BATTERY STORAGE
6.26 MWh Liquid-Cooled Battery Storage in a 20 ft Container
YT-Container ESS-6.26MWh provides a 6.26 MWh LFP battery block with 1.56 MW rated DC charge and discharge power. The 1500 V class system combines 392 Ah cells, three-level battery management and liquid cooling within a standard 20-foot high-cube enclosure. It is intended for integration into utility storage plants, renewable-energy projects and specifically engineered microgrids.
Equipment and Supply Scope
The listed equipment is a DC-side battery container. The specified configuration includes the battery modules and racks, battery protection units, DC protection, system BMS, thermal management, monitoring and the stated fire-protection functions. A compatible bidirectional PCS, project EMS/SCADA, transformer, switching and grid-connection equipment are external integration items unless separately included in the agreed scope.
YINTU is an energy storage solution provider. We work with manufacturing partners to match battery equipment with project requirements, coordinate technical interfaces and define the supply boundary. The container rating does not by itself establish a complete AC plant output, grid-service qualification or site backup performance.
Value in Utility and Renewable-Energy Projects
Solar and wind energy time shifting
Store selected renewable generation when production exceeds the desired delivery schedule, then discharge through the chosen PCS when energy is needed later. The battery block provides energy capacity for this operating plan. Renewable output, charging availability, export limits and auxiliary demand determine how much energy can actually be shifted.
Defined battery blocks for larger storage plants
The 20-foot format gives project designers a repeatable DC battery building block. Plant power and energy can be assessed separately by selecting the number of containers and the compatible conversion equipment. At the stated nameplate ratings, 6.26 MWh divided by 1.56 MW is approximately four hours. Delivered AC duration depends on usable SOC, losses, auxiliaries, aging and the agreed dispatch conditions.
Peak management and controlled grid exchange
A project EMS can coordinate battery dispatch around defined grid-demand peaks or an operating schedule. Useful peak support requires both sufficient converter power and usable energy over the relevant period. The design should also include reserve allocation and recovery between repeated peaks. Any savings or infrastructure-deferral assessment must use the actual connection and operating profile.
Engineered microgrids, reserves and critical-load supply
The container can form the battery section of a specifically engineered microgrid or backup system. Island operation, black start and grid-support functions depend on a suitable PCS, controls, switching, protection and operating sequence. Frequency-response performance or grid-forming capability is not guaranteed by the DC enclosure alone.
Battery Architecture and System Integration
The source configuration contains 4,992 LFP cells. Each 1P104S module is rated at 130.45 kWh and 332.8 V. Four modules form a 1P416S rack, rated at 521.8 kWh and 1331.2 V. Twelve racks in parallel form the 12P416S system. Six BPUs provide the specified circuit protection and rack-management functions, while the electrical cabin houses DC protection, system BMS and a 3 kVA UPS.
Match the external PCS to the complete 1123.2-1497.6 Vdc operating window and the 1.56 MW rated charge/discharge power, including the intended current limits and communications. The PCS converts DC battery power to and from the AC system. Project EMS/SCADA supervises dispatch while the BMS supplies battery limits and protection information. The electrical-cabin UPS rating does not define an AC backup supply for site loads.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this listing include the PCS or direct PV input?
The listed equipment is the DC battery container. PCS, project EMS and grid-connection equipment are external integration items. PV integration requires the appropriate PV conversion architecture and plant controls. Direct connection of PV strings to the battery enclosure is not specified.
Is this a guaranteed four-hour AC system?
Approximately four hours is the ratio of the nameplate energy to the rated DC power. The usable AC duration depends on SOC limits, conversion and auxiliary losses, temperature, aging and reserve settings. Agree the required delivery test and end-of-life criteria for the project.
Does ≥8,000 cycles establish the product warranty?
It is a cell-level test reference under the stated temperature, charge/discharge rate and remaining-capacity conditions. Warranty duration, throughput, operating limits and system performance commitments require a separate written agreement.
Can the container provide frequency response or off-grid power?
Those are functions of a complete engineered system. They require compatible PCS controls, the necessary power and energy reserve, metering, protection and any applicable connection or service approvals. They cannot be confirmed from the battery enclosure rating alone.
