Reserve-led application

Use this operating approach at a small commercial facility where selected controls, communications, access systems or other essential circuits need a protected battery reserve. The cabinet combines 50 kW conversion with 115.2 kWh nominal energy. Build the reserve around a defined circuit list and interruption requirement rather than the facility’s total connected load.

Calculate the shared energy budget

A 20 kW essential load running for 2 hours needs 40 kWh delivered to the circuits. Establish the battery energy allocation after allowing for inverter and auxiliary losses, the permitted SOC window and aging. Daily tariff dispatch should use the energy above that protected allocation. If the required reserve and daily dispatch overlap, reduce discretionary discharge or change the equipment configuration.

Transfer and load acceptance

The manufacturer identifies integrated STS but does not specify a universal transfer time in this source. Confirm the intended switching sequence and verify it with the actual loads. Keep motor starting, phase imbalance, protection coordination and neutral arrangements in the acceptance plan. Existing PV connected through its own inverter requires separate island-mode compatibility review.
