500KWH cold chain logistics park energy storage project

China Southern Power Grid Guangxi Nanning Power Supply Bureau and Zhuangning Refrigeration Company signed a cooperation agreement on the construction of a distributed energy storage demonstration project based on intelligent power management.

The first phase of the Nanning Zhuangning Food Refrigeration Co., Ltd. project plans to complete the research on user-side energy storage core technology and build and put into operation a 250 kW/500 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage demonstration project, which is expected to reduce comprehensive electricity costs for users. 

900,000 yuan will effectively reduce the electricity cost of Guangxi's "vegetable basket" livelihood projects, improve the level of intelligent electricity use and safe electricity use of agricultural product cold chain logistics enterprises, and use technological innovation to help promote the high-quality development of modern agriculture in western China. 

At the same time, the project will follow up with the construction of ice storage air-conditioning energy storage, photovoltaic power generation, two-way charging stations for electric vehicles, virtual power plant applications, etc., creating a new demonstration model for China Southern Power Grid's comprehensive energy zone.
